No More War, No More Bloodshed

“By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down and wept, when we remembered Zion”.  If I can’t make a point to my friends, how can I possibly be successful in making it to my enemies?

People are dismissing thousands of years of hatred and persecution, countless murders, bombings, kidnapping and hijacking, and sum it all up with the American way: prosperity.  If the Palestinians will be prosperous, they will let Israel exist alongside with it.  I wish.

I decided not to blog about the war in Gaza anymore.  It’s easy to see that it’s pointless.  But let me leave a few points with you before I move on to the next topic.

  • I am very concerned with the dead Palestinian innocent civilians.  Women and children in particular.  I do think though, that pumping a residential area with explosives and missiles, cannot be dismissed either.
  • I am very concerned, worried, indeed terrified, that the international community easily accepts Israeli civilians under the threat of missiles, than it is accepting the right of Israel to protect itself.
  • I am very concerned, worried, and horrified, that the West is not considering the horrific scenario of Israel’s complete and total annihilation.  Forget the Jews.  Without Israel in the Middle East, it will be all Iran.  I would love to see everyone feeling sorry that the American air-force destroyed Teheran after an Iranian ICBM hit Washington DC.  Remember, Saddam was on his way to put together The Bomb.

Good-bye my friends.  Enemies too.  I failed miserably, as Israel often do, in explaining my point to you.  People who know me, will always remember me as a person who loves harmony, stays out of confrontation as possible.  We all are.  We want to live, create, work, raise our children peacefully, and create a better future for them.  I agree with you.  Apparently we can’t.  We shall live on our sword, for as long we have swords.  And then it will be your turn.

Please don’t look for humor, cynicism, irony, or sarcasm here.  You shall find none.  You will find recognition, acceptance, deep sadness, and preparedness for the worst.
